One more thing. It is time to mature.

I have decided I love it when people who don't even know me try to make fun of me. It is extremely entertaining. Especially when the person trying to bash me can't spell for shit. He even needs to take grammar lessons from third grade to present. I have seen him about four times and have talked to him three times in person, yet he knows everything about me. Or so he thinks. I have done nothing to him, yet it must give him some sort of piece of mind to belittle me. Is that not an ego trip or what?

Now I don't want to ask her if I can go to florida with Dianne, Mike, Cal, and Jessie. If she's pissed off, she may be more likely to say no. I'll ask later today. This sucks. The end.

I need some pictures of me. I have zero pictures. I have no pictures of me, friends, family, anyone. I don't own any pictures. Actually, I lied. I have lots of baby pictures. And I have school pictures from almost every year of grade school. But that doesn't count. I am writing short sentences.

I am going to Cedar Point on Wednesday I think. Unrelated, but must be said.

I received this in an e-mail today:
"Each year the Washington Post's Style Invitational asks readers to
take any word from the dictionary, alter it by adding, subtracting,
or changing only one letter and supply a new definition.
Here are the 2002 winners:

Intaxication: Euphoria at getting a tax refund, which lasts until
you realize it was your money to start with.

Foreploy: Any misrepresentation about yourself for the purpose of
getting laid.

Giraffiti: Vandalism painted very, very high.

Sarchasm: The gulf between the author of sarcastic wit and the
person who doesn't get it.

Inoculatte: To take coffee intravenously when you are running
late.

Hipatitis: Terminal coolness.

Osteopornosis: A degenerate disease. (This one got extra credit).

Karmageddon: It's like, when everybody is sending off all these
really bad vibes, right? And then, like, the Earth explodes
and it's like, a serious bummer.

Glibido: All talk and no action.

Dopeler Effect: The tendency of stupid ideas to seem smarter when
they come at you rapidly.

And, the winner of the Washington Post's Style Invitational:

Ignoranus: A person who's both stupid and an asshole."

Update on the car:
Every bolt is overtightened.* I have broken several tools so far (two sockets, an extension, and a socket wrench), so I had to get it over to my uncle's house (he's a master mechanic, or at least he used to be until he quit because he has morals). Since the starter and transmission were disabled, i couldnt start the car at all to take advantage of the power brakes/steering, so I hung a bunch of thick blankets out of the trunk and my dad pushed it with the truck. So we get there and he starts working on it. His air-impact gun is not powerful enough to take off two of the bolts. wtf?! He has way better quality tools than I do, so he was able to get the rest of the bolts off, only breaking one extension. It should be back up by the end of the weekend.

*There are actually three reasons the bolts were so tight:
1) overtightened by the last mechanic to work on them
2) rust
3) electrolysis

Electrolysis happens when two dissimilar metals are tightly in contact (for example, steel bolts in an aluminum housing). The metals actually begin to swap electrons, creating a chemical reaction that welds the two metals together. Salt speeds this process up.

3:02 am - whatever
Some people think I steal shit from my work, and that is total bullshit.

The clutch finally gave out on the mustang. It was only a matter of time. The new clutch kit will be in on Monday, but I'll probably start ripping the car down on Sunday since I need to get the flywheel turned anyways. I miss driving it. It died on Tuesday. I have washed it, waxed it, armor-alled it, and vacuumed it since it died. I have been driving my mom's explorer since she is in new york temporarily.

he's so goofy.

I like the Matrix Reloaded soundtrack.
Slick Idiot's remix CD came out this week, and I think Radiohead's CD comes out this Tuesday.

I have passed "So Deep" Maniac (9 feet), "Sakura" Maniac (10 feet), "A" Oni (9 feet), and "Across the Nightmare" Oni (9 feet). I have tried "Cartoon Heroes" Maniac (9 feet), but it really should be about 14 feet (even though they only go up to 10), because it is damn near impossible. I've never seen anyone pass it. A couple people have come close, and I've heard of people doing it, but never seen it with my own eyes.

Got a new car on Wednesday of last week. 95 Mustang. It is obnoxiously orange, so I get a lot of attention in it. I'll take pictures some day to post up here. It just needs a paint job and a new clutch and it will be super kickass.

12:23 pm - I guess I lack dedication to my journal... Eat me.
Nineteenth birthday yesterday.

I got a new desk for my computer. It's one of those nifty corner desks, though I placed it in the middle of one wall. One side of the desk is up against the wall, and my bed is behind the other side. I sleep much better when I am surrounded by tall things. I don't really know why. Maybe it's because the boogie man can't get me now. I found Donnie Darko on DVD at Meijer's for $10, so I had to buy it. Good movie.

My parents always claim me as a dependent so they get money off of their taxes. The side effect is that I don't get shit back from my taxes. But they get more money back than I would get if I filed as independent. We have always done this in the past, but this year they are actually giving me part of the money they are getting back. With that money I bought the materials to make my very own set of metal/lucite hard dance pads for DDR. Since I play doubles a lot, I am making both pads. So far I have completed the metal squares, so now I have to attach all of the metal squares together with those damned Stanley brackets. It's a lot of work. About 18 hours of work per pad, so I'll probably have about 36 hours of work invested by the time I'm done with them. It better be worth it.

At the arcade, I have passed No Limit Maniac Double (8 feet), and am currently working on Synchronized Love Maniac Double (8 feet). For singles, I have recently passed Burning Heat Maniac (9 feet), Bag Maniac (10 feet), and Witch Doctor Maniac (8 feet). I'm working on Max 300 Trick (8 feet) and Afronova Maniac (9 feet).

I slept for 12 hours last night, so I pretty much feel like shit.

Work today was pretty bad. I had three people ask if they could pay the late fee next time because they only had a few bucks on them. If I do that, I get written up, so I said no. One of them said something about being really close friends with Ben (the manager). Two things: 'How does that affect me?' and 'Even if she is, I can't do that for my own friends, or anyone.' One of them had me hold her movie for her while she went to get money, and her husband came up and started yelling and stuff. After he settled down, he paid the late fee and rented the movie, then on his way out the door he was talking about going to Blockbuster from now on, but he saw some DVD's for sale and decided to buy one. I don't understand people. It is a lot easier to deal with when everyone remains calm.

Too tired to write more.

2:41 am - it never ends
I need this stuff. I guess I need money to buy it all.

New sound system components: two of these for front channels, two of these for rear channels, one of these for the center channel, one of these, and one of these to power it all.

Home version of DDR: a PS2 and the pads/game

I like to laugh at people like my parents who watch the Superbowl, but never ever watch any other football, and root for a team. I can understand viewing some of the fucked up commercials, but rooting for a team when you don't even care about either of them just seems absurd. Maybe I'm just cynical.

School tomorrow. Sick of it. Second semester in college and I'm already sick of learning all this math that I will never use, and taking classes like engineering 100, where we [insert sarcasm] learn how to use fucking amazing programs like Micro$oft Internet Explorer and Word. I have math and physics tomorrow. Then I work.

Random junk.

3:14 am - im glad i dont drink
I went to Gibralter trade center today to price Xbox mod chips. The only guy selling imported games said he didn't know anything about the chips they offer, but to talk to this guy a few tables over. So I ask him and he says he sells them for $129 installed. I asked him if he would just sell me the chip, and he said he wouldn't because they have had too many people come back with their Xboxes totally caked with solder everywhere. I told him I have soldering experience, but he said no. Guess I'll have to order one for $70. It's not like I have the money right now anyways. While I was out there, I stopped by the truck stop and played some DDR.

I went to a friend's house to play some Halo with about 9 other people. Someone bought alcohol for these poor souls. One guy said he had 17 shots of Morgan's, but I counted 10, though he had them all in about 15 minutes. He puked twice, then had the dry heaves. In the middle of all the craziness, a couch landed on one guy's controller and broke it. We offered to chip in to pay for it, but he declined. I guess that's up to him. I'm not really into drinking, so after Halo was done, they got something to eat and I split.

I don't think I'll ever understand drinking. At least not to that extent.
